How to Prepare a Shipment for Road Transport

A lot of dispatch delays happen due to basic mistakes. Here’s a simple checklist to reduce risk.
1) Packaging
Use proper cartons, strapping, palletization (if required), and edge protectors.
2) Labeling
Clearly mark consignee, address, PO/reference, handling instructions, and quantity.
3) Documents
Keep invoice, e-way bill (if applicable), and any required compliance documents ready.
4) Loading
Prevent movement using dunnage/straps. Keep fragile items away from heavy goods.
